int32   valve_id       # ID of the valve.  Valves may be indexed from one, zero, or randomly selected.
float64 set_point      # A value from -1.0 to 1.0 for a proportional reversable valve
                       # A value from 0.0 to 1.0 for a proportional valve
                       # 0.0 OR 1.0 for a solenoid (bang bang) valve
